OREANDA-NEWS. December 04, 2013. A seminar for technical and commercial directors of "Uzbektelecom" JSC branches took place in Namangan. The main objective of the seminar was to share and study the experience of Namangan branch of "Uzbektelecom" JSC.

The participants of the seminar were welcomed by hokim of Namangan region Bakhodir Yusupov. The head of territorial department of the State Committee of Communications, Informatization and telecommunications technologies Shamsitdin Toshtemirov told the participants of the seminar about the development of ICT in Namangan region.

The Director of Namangan branch of "Uzbektelecom" JSC – J. Yakubaev presented a report on the development of telecommunication networks and services based on them in the region as a whole, and as an example in Kasansay district of Namangan region.

After the plenary session of the seminar, the participants went to Kasansay district of Namangan region, where they were introduced to the work of "Single window" sales office of Kasansay district center of telecommunications.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 6, 2011 № PP-1615 "On the preparation and celebration of twentieth anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan", "Uzbektelecom" Joint Stock Company before the end of 2011 has arranged across the country first 50 sales offices on a "Single window" principle.

In 2012, "Uzbektelecom" JSC put into operation another 94 "Single window" sales office across the country.

At the moment, "Uzbektelecom" JSC already operates a total of 163 "Single window" offices. Construction of new "Single window" sales offices continues.

The emphasis is being put on organization of sales offices in regional centers and rural areas of our country.

Through a "Single window" any subscriber can receive such services as telephony, Internet via dedicated line, wireless telephony services and mobile Internet of CDMA-450 standard, video telephony and even digital television: IPTV, Stars TV, "Uz Digital TV" LLC.

If previously the company subscribers had to apply to various branches of "Uzbektelecom" JSC separately for fixed-line telephony, Internet access, mobile communication etc. , today it is enough to come to a new sales office and in one place get a complete service for all types of services, including technical support.

The participants of the seminar visited two new rural automatic telephone exchanges (MSAN ISKRATEL) of a new type of NGN in "Namuna" and "Tergachi" villages of Kasansay district of Namangan region.

On the example of these new automatic telephone exchanges it was told about the experience of creating effective rural exchanges of new generation NGN, using which the residents of villages have such modern communication services as digital telephony, broadband Internet access and IP-TV services. The participants of the seminar were shown the economic efficiency of the introduction of such exchanges in rural areas.

After the end of outreach activities of the seminar, a roundtable discussion was held among technical and commercial directors of "Uzbektelecom" JSC branches, where the introduction and promotion of new technologies and services, improvement of customer service quality as well as other issues of the strategy for development of branches of the company with the experience of Namangan branch of "Uzbektelecom" JSC were discussed.
