OREANDA-NEWS.   Today a representative delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan is working at KAMAZ.

The main purpose of the visit of the delegation led by Colonel General Saken Zhasuzakov, First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is to conduct negotiations on long-term cooperation with top managers of KAMAZ.

Accompanied by Sergey Kogogin, General Director of OJSC KAMAZ, and his top managers, the guests visited Remdiesel, KAMAZ’s partner repairing military vehicles, where they saw diagnostic equipment and mobile teams’ work. Such teams are formed to perform works on engineering supervision of military vehicles in the field, support during marches, in a special period. They carry out maintenance and all types of repair of KAMAZ vehicles, and also replace motor vehicle tires, accumulator batteries and the main units. Besides, the mobile team trains the personnel of the armed forces and ensures warranty maintenance of KAMAZ vehicles. By the way, the Russian military highly assess the work of Remdiesel and its mobile teams the activity of which was many times demonstrated during various trainings.
Then the Kazakh delegation and Ravil Zaripov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, will visit the Research and Development Center of the company where they will see KAMAZ products and a test drive of vehicles. It is also planned to conduct negotiations in the general directorate of KAMAZ and visit the automobile plant of the company.

It should be noted that the market of heavy trucks in Kazakhstan is one of the largest and promising ones for KAMAZ. During the latest years, this republic has been ranking second after Russia in volumes of deliveries of vehicles. In all, last year, over 2.8 thousand KAMAZ vehicles were sold in the Kazakh market.
