OREANDA-NEWS. LLC "STROYGAZMONTAZH" became a laureate of the “National Proud of Russia” award in the “Company of the Year” nomination.

The “Arguments and Facts” weekly newspaper held the award which was timed to coincide with 35th anniversary of the newspaper.

“National Proud of Russia” is a national prize which is awarded on the basis of the readers voting. According to the organizers 428,000 people took part in the voting. Readers selected the winners in 16 categories that influenced, according to their opinion, most of all to the development of science, culture and sport and that are socially active, outstanding public figures and business representatives.

Maya Plisetskaya, a ballet dancer, Sergei Shoigu, the Minister of Defense, Denis Matsuev, a pianist, Ernst Muldashev, an ophthalmologist, Yuri Shevchuk, a musician, Valery Gergiev, the Artistic and General Director of the Mariinsky Theatre were in the list of laureates. Readers also offered their candidates. Sasha Vozzhennikov, a teenager who rescued 12 people from a mangled bus, Grigory Sergeev, a coordinator of “Liza Alert”, the search and rescue team of volunteers, Vladimir Skulachev, a biologist who invented an anti-aging medicine and other candidates were among the prize winners.

“The victory in Arguments and Facts award is national recognition and high confidence of the newspaper readers for us. For 5 years of its operation SGM Group of Companies has been laying over 11.5 thsd. km of gas pipeline, which almost equals to the Earth diameter,” said Ruslan Goryukhin, the Chief Executive Officer of LLC "SGM". “Today we actually participate in all key projects of the country due to which gas is delivered not only to Russian settlements but as well as abroad.”

The awards ceremony, where famous public and political figures of the country have participated, will be shown on air of Channel One Russia on December 1st,,2013.
