OREANDA-NEWS. 'Expert RA' rating agency assigned 'Blagovest' PPF reliability rating A, which means high reliability, with the stable outlook. The stable outlook means high probability of maintaining the rating in the mid-term.

Low actuary risks of the Foundation, high current liquidity, equity above the market average and customer base increase rates in private pension plans and OPI as well as the broad geographic footprint had a positive impact on the 'Blagovest' PPF rating. Moreover, high PSA sufficiency and the insurance provision for possible losses from pension reserves allocation, as well as high private pension plan profit accrued on accounts had a positive impact on the rating.

High concentration on the OPI market, the moderately high share of terminated OPI contracts, the low ratio of the PSA monetary value to the book value as of June 30, 2013, and low profitability of OPI and private pension plans were highlighted as the rating-restraining factors by the Agency's analysts. The high share of investments into related parties in the investment portfolio, low diversification of pension assets and pension provisions by management companies, the low reliability and service quality rating of the partner management company restrained the rating.
