OREANDA-NEWS. The profitability of Belarusian agriculture has reduced 50% on the year in January-September 2013, PM Mikhail Myasnikovich reported on Thursday.

According to the premier, the worst situation is in Vitebsk Region, where agriculture profitability reduced 3-fold and Minsk Region - 2.2-fold.

The outstanding payables in Vitebsk Region grew 64%, Grodno Region - 49%, Brest Region - 44%. “If we do not take measures now, the problem will aggravate”, the prime minister warned.
