Kazakh Government Adopts Resolution on Revised 2013-2015 Budget
OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2013. The Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov adopted the Resolution on the implementation of the revised national budget for 2013 - 2015.
Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev presented the draft Resolution and highlighted the refined parameters of the national budget.
According to him, "the national budget revenues for 2013 will amount to 5.2 trillion tenge having grown by 14.4 billion compared to the current budget. The size of the guaranteed transfer from the National Fund remains at the approved level of 1.3 trillion tenge. Expenditures are expected to make 6 trillion tenge with a decrease compared to the current budget by 65.6 billion tenge."
According to Dossayev, the document "has been formed in accordance with the Budget Code, includes changes made in the refinement of the amounts of target transfers to local executive bodies, the list of priority national investments for 2013-2015 and the list of state tasks for 2013." In addition, it "takes into account the previous redistributions inside the programs in order to improve budget implementation."
The Prime Minister instructed the budget programs administrators, regional governors, mayors of Almaty and Astana cities to ensure timely development of the budget. Budget program administrators have to submit agreed and adjusted strategic plans to the Government in accordance with legislation.
Serik Akhmetov drew attention of public administrators, ministers, regional governors to "unconditional execution of the 2013 budget".
