OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2013. By Government of Russia Regulation dated 13.11.2013 No. 2104-r the boundaries of territory and water area of Kandalaksha Seaport were amended.

According to the amendments, a land plot, which was not designed to support functioning of Kandalaksha Seaport and did not contain any seaport infrastructure facilities, was excluded from the territory of the seaport. Also the water area boundaries were optimized in order to ensure safe navigation of trade vessels calling at the seaport.

The Murmansk Branch uses 1 land plot in Kandalaksa Seaport, with the area size of more than 0.5 hectares, which makes 2.1 % of the total terttitory size of Kandalaksha Seaport.
