OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2013. The BLIZKO Payment System operated by Sviaz-Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) and SDM-Bank have launched a cooperation project that will enable their customers to send money through the BLIZKO Payment System from any of the 570 Plat-Forma self-service terminals.*

The SDM-Bank’s self-service terminals have been set up in Moscow and across Moscow Region, in St.Petersburg, Tver, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhniy Novgorod, Omsk, Perm, and Krasnoyarsk.

“Payment terminals have become a visible part of Russian citizens’ everyday life and are no longer looked upon by the public with surprised wide-opened eyes. After the BLIZKO Payment System has been integrated into existing terminal networks, the average transfer amount has been growing steadily, which means that the customers’ confidence in this money transfer method has been rising. Using terminals developed by the SDM-Bank for transferring money through the BLIZKO system is both very convenient and simple to use – a transfer can be made by pushing just a few keys on the sensory screen,” said Andrei Laikov, Manager of the BLIZKO Payment System.

*The Plat-Forma system is a network of self-service terminals permitting a wide range of mobile, banking, and communication services to be paid for instantly in cash.
