OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2013. One of the most important objectives for the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) for 2014 is countering regional protectionist practices. Competitive environment must not be distorted by the actions of the authorities.

This statement was made by the Head of FAS Department for Control over the Authorities Vladimir Mishelovin at the Forum of Russia’s Brewers, devoted to legal regulation and the main problems of the industry as well as corporate social responsibility.

According to Vladimir Mishelovin, throughout 2013 the antimonopoly authorities worked closely with the Union of Producers of beer and alcohol-free products. He emphasized that “the dialogues with the industry is built on basis of a sector-specific Expert Council at FAS Russia”.

“We are devising the plan of work of the Expert Council for 2014 and we are ready to discuss with entrepreneurs system-wide problems of market performance”, said Vladimir Mishelovin.
