OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2013. In the negotiations with either the European or Customs Union Ukraine is guided exceptionally by the interests of the citizens.

And so that to make our country a strong partner to participate in the abovementioned trade and economic blocks we must strengthen the national economics. But our state needs over a year of time to complete principal system reforms. Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhniuk declared.

“In the negotiations with the European Union and the Customs Union we are guided exceptionally by the interests of citizens and have a pragmatic approach. Our foreign political partners have seen that. And now we have no right to take hasty decisions conflict with the interests of the national economics or industry,” the Minister stressed. 

Moreover, Mykola Prysyazhniuk noted that in negotiations with these trade and economic blocks everyone had realized that Ukraine would protect its producers. And for instance, so that to become a full-fledged partner of Europe we must make a lot of efforts for modernization of economics, in particular of agrarian complex. 

“We will become a strong partner, it is an issue to be solved in the near future. Our state needs over a year of time in order to finalize the system reforms,” the head of the department emphasized.
