OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2013. National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' and Assosiation "Informational technologies of Ukraine" have a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation.

Chairman of the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization Volodymyr Semynozhenko congratulated the signatories on this important step. According to him, the role of the state in this matter can not be overemphasized. For the last time the Government has taken several measures to significantly improve the quantity and quality of IT-professionals that are trained by higher education institutions in Ukraine.

In particular, the amount of state order to prepare students for high-tech industries has been doubled. But along with that we can not underestimate the role of IT companies, whose number in the Ukrainian market is growing every year "Business is the platform where students and graduates can obtain additional theoretical knowledge, the first experience, practical skills and ultimately professional start," Volodymyr Semynozhenko said.

In accordance with the Memorandum, the experts of Assosiation "Informational technologies of Ukraine" will conduct an analysis of practical-oriented training of IT disciplines at 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' and by the result of which will be elaborated recommendations to the university.

The Memorandum also provides an opportunity for students of KPI to undergo training and be employed in the companies of the Association.
