OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2013. His Excellency Mr. Denis Sassou Nguesso, President of the Republic of Congo, accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, visited Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLC), as part of his official visit to Qatar.

Mr. Abdulaziz J. Al-Muftah, Director of Industrial Cities at Qatar Petroleum (QP), led the senior RLC officials in welcoming Their Excellencies the Congolese President and Dr. Al-Sada, and the accompanying delegation.

Mr. Al-Muftah gave a presentation on RLC, focusing on its development and the expansion of projects and investments in the area. At the end of the visit, Their Excellencies Mr. Nguesso and Dr. Al -Sada went on an aerial tour of RLC’s facilities, industries and port.

“I am particularly honored to visit Ras Laffan Industrial City, where I found a facility professionally and efficiently managed and staffed,” wrote H.E. Mr. Nguesso in the industrial city’s guest book.
