OREANDA-NEWS. Within the period from 17th to 21st of November, 2013 ANTONOV Company participated in Dubai Airshow - 2013 -the biggest aviation exhibition in the Middle East and African region. As D.S.Kiva, President - General Designer, head of ANTONOV Company delegation noted “Our programs aroused big interest both of aviation specialists and operators of the aircraft”. Especial attention was paid to the regional jets of the AN-148/AN-158 family. Visitors could familiarize with the ample opportunities of the AN-158 seeing the program of demonstration flights and coming to the static stand. Multifunctionality of the aircraft of the family, their capability to be operated in the different climatic conditions and unpretentiousness to the base airdromes attracts customers.

During the exhibition cooperation between ANTONOV Company and countries of the region in a sector of the transport airplanes including programs on a basis of the AN-70 operative-tactic military STOL transport and the AN-178 prospective transport was discussed as well.

Al Maktoum, Sheikh of Dubai Emirate and Al Tourkhi, Prince of Saudi Arabia, who visited ANTONOV exposition, personally expressed intention to develop cooperation with Ukraine in aviation brand basing on ANTONOV programs.
