OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero, Rossiya, Saratov Airlines, Pskovavia- partners of Moscow Domodedovo Airport - retained their leading September positions and turned out to be among the winners of the punctuality contest in October 2013. Among the most punctual foreign airlines there were Lufthansa, SWISS, Iberia and Turkmenistan Airlines.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport sums up the Most Punctual Airlines Contest on a monthly basis in eight categories - depending on frequency of flights and maximum take-off mass of aircraft. Transaero company - a key partner of Domodedovo - became the most punctual airline in the first category as it operated 1,350 on-time flights. Rossiya Airlines demonstrated the best results in the second category as it operated 246 flights without delays. Saratov Airlines headed the third contest category and had 141 punctual flights. In October, Pskovavia operated 13 flights without delays and headed the fourth category of the contest.

Foreign airlines, partners of Domodedovo, contested in a separate group. Lufthansa became the most punctual airline in the fifth category - it operated 200 on-time flights. SWISS Airlines from Switzerland operated 115 dead-on-time flights and headed the sixth category. Leadership in the seventh and eighth categories went to Iberia (42 punctual flights) and Turkmenistan Airlines (31 punctual flights), respectively

Moscow Domodedovo Airport has been holding the Most Punctual Airlines Contest over a period of 6 years. The number of Russian and foreign airlines-partners increased by more than one third during these years. Airlines participate in the contest with great interest willing to maintain a high level of passenger services.

As of early November 2013, 85 airlines operate flights to 237 domestic and international destinations from Domodedovo Airport, 83 out of which are unique for the Moscow Air Hub.
