Domodedovo Airport Fuel Supply Complex Complies with Standards
OREANDA-NEWS. Joint Inspection Group (JIG) audited fuel supply complex of Domodedovo Airport to see whether it meets the requirements of fuel supply safety standard as well as the quality of aviation fuel provided by the airport.
Joint Inspection Group is one of the leading international associations of fuel supply experts who work at elaborating standards in safe processing and quality control of aviation fuel, including transportation, storage and refueling aircraft on a global scale. JIG standards are recognized by aviation industry experts worldwide.
Domodedovo Fuel Services received a positive feedback from JIG experts - which confirms the high quality of fuel supply services at Domodedovo Airport and their compliance with international requirements and standards.
Since 2000, Moscow Domodedovo Airport has been pursing proactive policy in developing fuil supply complex alternative operators' services in order to improve the quality of airlines servicing. For more than 10 years, two refueling operators - CJSC Domodedovo Fuel Services and CJSC Shell and Aerofuels - have been working in Domodedovo. Along with them, such companies as Gazprom Neft-Aero, LUKOIL-AERO, Rosneft and World Fuel Services got an opportunity to store and sell fuel to airlines and provide aircraft refueling service. At Domodedovo Airport, the conditions have been created allowing airlines to choose their own fuel supplier from the six independent companies.
Fuel supply services at Moscow Domodedovo Airport are provided in compliance with the best international practices and complies with international standards which is also confirmed by IATA Fuel Quality Pool (IFQP) experts. In July 2013, once again, Domodedovo Fuel Services successfully passed the IATA audits in quality control and airport refueling complex services level.
