Delegation of Government from Newfoundland Visits WISCO
OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2013. The delegation led by Mr. David Liefmann, the Assistant of Director of Resources Department and the Director of Mining Bureau of Newfoundland province of Canada visited WISCO.
The delegation visited No.2 Hot Strip Mill and Museum of WISCO. WISCO vice president Mr. Huang Delin and resource management director Mr.Liu Xiang had talks with the delegation.
Mr.Huang Delin extended his warm welcome to the delegation headed by Mr. David Liefmann and made brief introduction of WISCO. Mr.Huang said WISCO had long–term demand for iron ore and had already invested some iron ore projects in Canada and had made deep research on developing and using iron ore in Canada. He hoped that WISCO and Newfoundland government could enhance cooperation on developing iron ore and other mineral resources to bring benefit to both countries and believed that the two parties could have an honest exchange and achieve win-win success.
Mr. David Liefmann expressed his thanks for WISCO’s warm reception and highly appraised WISCO’s rapid development and production management. He also sincerely expressed that Newfoundland government welcomed WISCO’s investment in developing iron ore in Newfoundland, and hoped that the two parties could further enhance understand and communication to achieve good cooperation and development.
