OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2013. Around 20,000 readers of Business Traveller China named Incheon International Airport’s Airstar Avenue the World’s Best Duty Free Shop.

Business Traveller is the leading magazine for the frequent business traveller, selling over 500,000 worldwide including the UK, US, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, China, Germany, Denmark, Hungary, Africa and Poland. It selects the best travel-related agency through readers’ survey every year in whicn Incheon won 2013 Business Traveller China Awards.

Meanwhile, the airport has been named the World's Best Duty Free Shop at the Business Traveller America and Asia-Pacific Awards, grabbing the best duty free shops title in China, U.S., and Asia-Pacific region for the third consecutive year.

Airstar Avenue scooped top honors not only thanks to its top-notch shopping environment, but also for keeping pace with the "Korean Wave" by opening popular Korean-brand shops in the Duty Free complex.

Airstar Avenue is the integrated brand of the duty free stores in Incheon International Airport, launched in 2008 first time in its kind around the world. Incheon came up with Airstar Avenue-wide marketing strategies for convenient facilities within the airport as well as duty free shops. This introduction of the integrated brand helped make the airport be a modern multi-complex.

Meanwhile, Airstar Avenue won the Best Duty-free Awards at the Frontier Awards held in Cannes, on October 23.
