OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2013. Technology, engineering and project management company Neste Jacobs and Borealis, a leading provider of innovative solutions in the fields of polyolefins, base chemicals and fertilizers, have signed an agreement for Neste Jacobs to deliver the EPCM part of the renewal process of Borealis Borstar PE2 plant in Porvoo, Finland.

With the renewal project the technology of the plant will be upgraded to third generation Borstar® technology and the usage possibilities of Borstar PE technology will be further developed. The 3G investment is scheduled for implementation after the 2015 autumn turnaround.
