OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2013. Dmitry Patrushev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg), and Sergey Mitin, Governor of Novgorod region, held a working meeting where they discussed cooperation between the Bank and local authorities aimed to promote development of agribusiness in the region. The main topics of the discussion were perspectives of agricultural infrastructure modernization and implementation of new investment projects in the industry.

To date, Russian Agricultural Bank provided financial support to 28 investment projects on construction, reconstruction and modernization of agribusiness facilities in Novgorod region. These projects play an important social and economic role in the region and promote active development of different agricultural subsectors. The total volume of Bank`s lending to the projects in Novgorod region amounted to RUB 4.17 billion.

In the framework of the visit Dmitry Patrushev and Sergey Mitin inspected a vegetable-growing complex which is currently under reconstruction financed by RusAg. The Bank provided RUB 128 million out of the project`s total cost of RUB 176 million. Another RUB 260 million worth vegetable-growing complex was constructed in the region in 2012 with the financial support of Russian Agricultural Bank.
