OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2013. With support from Uniastrum, on December 19 and 21 the world famous musician, composer and “Master of the duduk” will be entertaining audiences at the Moscow State Variety Theater.

For many years now Uniastrum Bank has worked in partnership with Jivan Gasparyan, one of the world’s most original artists, and the unrivalled master of the Armenian woodwind instrument, the duduk. In 2009, Uniastrum President Gagik Zakaryan helped set up Jivan Gasparyan Arts, a producer center dedicated to developing and promoting the cultural legacy of the great musician. In 2010, Uniastrum sponsored a compilation of the maestro’s best works, 33 Masterpieces Limited Edition.

“Jivan Gasparyan rightly deserves to be called a living legend. His unique talent is recognized worldwide and anyone who hears the magical sounds of his duduk at least once is bound to be enthralled. Uniastrum Bank has supported this wonderful musician for some years now, and we are delighted to be instrumental in giving devotees of his art the chance to enjoy a major concert at the Kremlin in honor of the maestro,” says Gagik Zakaryan.

Next year, Uniastrum marks its 20th anniversary.
