OREANDA-NEWS.  Walmart today announced its biggest Cyber Monday event to date, with incredible online savings that include USD 500 off a 55-inch 3D LED TV bundle.

Cyber Week officially kicks off two days early on Saturday, Nov. 30, with 200 online specials on Walmart.com every day through Friday, Dec. 6, including USD 150 off a 32GB iPad bundle and USD 50 for a Nextbook 7-inch tablet. To help customers save even more, Walmart starting today is lowering the free shipping minimum this holiday season to USD 35 (from USD 50) on nearly 99 percent of Walmart.com items.*

New – Free Shipping Now Available on Orders of USD 35 or More This Holiday Season

Whether shopping online or on a tablet or smartphone, Walmart’s biggest free shipping program gives customers more opportunities to save and the flexibility to choose how they want to get their online orders – at their door or at a store. Starting Nov. 22, nearly all Walmart.com items (and half of Marketplace items) are eligible for free shipping on orders over USD 35. Customers can also upgrade to a faster 3-5 day option for just USD 2.97, with most orders arriving in three days or less, without a subscription fee. Additionally, select Cyber specials will be available for customers to order online and pick up at their local Walmart store that same day, from Saturday, Nov. 30, through Cyber Monday, Dec. 2.

Customers Can Get Early Access to Cyber Monday Online Specials

Walmart’s mobile app customers, Facebook fans and email subscribers will be among the first to receive invitations to an early shopping event on Sunday, Dec. 1, featuring up to 20 of the best Cyber Monday items while supplies last, before they are widely available. Walmart.com has tripled the number of early access items compared to last year’s Cyber Week event, when the retailer offered one early access item per day.

More Opportunities to Shop Great Deals on Thanksgiving and Black Friday

Customers don’t have to wait until Cyber Week to save online. While the turkey cooks, customers can visit Walmart.com to get a head start on their Black Friday shopping on Thanksgiving Day. Hundreds of the Black Friday deals scheduled to be released in Walmart stores will be available online at Walmart.com in limited quantities early on Thanksgiving morning, including a Samsung® Galaxy 3 10.1-inch tablet for USD 299 (USD 60 savings) and the Little Tikes gourmet kitchen for USD 50 (USD 39 savings).

And, Walmart.com will offer hundreds of additional online specials at incredible prices on Thanksgiving and Black Friday while supplies last, including an Xbox 360™ with camouflage controller for USD 139 (USD 90 savings) and an Apple iPad 2 bundle with Bluetooth speaker and accessory kit for USD 349 (nearly USD 75 savings).  

More Convenient Ways to Save and Shop

Walmart's mobile shoppers can also find convenient ways to shop and save on their tablets and smartphones, including access to their local circulars and a Black Friday store map to help them plan their visit on the Walmart mobile app. Mobile now accounts for 50 percent of Walmart.com traffic, a percentage that has doubled over the past two years. Tablet traffic to Walmart.com has increased 80 percent since last holiday season.
