NTT DATA Corporation, through NTT DATA EMEA, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT DATA, has reached an agreement to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares in EBS Romania S.A., which specializes in providing near-shore IT services for international customers, mainly in German-speaking countries.

EBS has 13 years of outsourcing experience in the field of software engineering, testing, quality assurance and application management support. Its core business is near-shore IT services, and in the local market, EBS is also a successful IT service provider of SAP solutions, operating as a certified value added reseller and with its own ERP product.

This alliance is part of NTT DATA's focused strategy to promote additional shoring options in Application Management services, SAP integration, Microsoft and Java platforms. EBS capability will complement NTT DATA EMEA's existing shoring services in India, southern Italy, and Vietnam.
