OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2013. It was reported recently that FAW's Qingdao Jiefang Truck Division had exported 3,218 units from January to October, up 14.6 percent year-on-year, although the overseas sales of the whole industry of China's medium and heavy truck under the depression situation.

In order to compensate the current resources, and improve Jiefang truck's image and competitiveness, Qingdao Division introduced some premium parts from the world well-known auto parts suppliers, including WABCO air brake valve, GLOBAL battery, THUNHIL shifting cable, and EATON/ZF transmission. In addition, Qindao Division this year put forward new standard and quality requirement to the current domestic suppliers, which settled long-term problems to the truck reliability existed in some overseas customers.

Besides FAW Jiefang truck maintains its first place in market shares in Kenya, Indonesia and Pakistan for the second consecutive years for the Chinese truck brands, Qingdao Division has exported over 22,000 trucks to more than 30 countries and regions in Asia, Africa and Latin America for years, where the population of Jiefang trucks at the 8 countries and regions has got to more than 1,000 units.
