OREANDA-NEWS. November 21, 2013. “The Light of Textile”-- Conference for 2013 Science, Technology and Eduction Awards of China Textile Industry Association was ceremoniously opened in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. China Textile Academy (CTA)’s 7 scientific achievements won 2013 Science and Technology Awards of China Textile Industry Association. Research Fellow Huang Qing was entitled “National Leading Talent of Textile Scientific Innovation”.

The conference was sponsored by China Textile Industry Association and co-organized by “The Light of Textile” Scientific Education Fund. Representatives of the awarded projects and the department of science management of CTA took part in the conference.

The certificates for the Science and Technology Awards of China Textile Industry Association were firstly conferred. CTA won one first prize, one second prize and five third prizes. Research Fellow Sun Yushan and Li Hanyu accepted the prizes on behalf of the awarded teams.

Afterwards, the certificates of the entitlement of “National Leading Talents of Textile Scientific Innovation” were conferred. Research Fellow Huang Qing of CTA was among the winners. This entitlement was given for the first time by China Textile Industry Association. Nationally, 10 “National Leading Talents of Textile Scientific Innovation” were entitled, 5 “National Leading Youth Talents of Textile Scientific Innovation” and 3 “National Talents of Textile Scientific Innovation and Entrepreneurship” were entitled.
