OREANDA-NEWS. November 21, 2013. As it was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, the average salary in September increased by 5.7%. The average salary in the budget sector in the period amounted to 3,210.9 lei, or 2.8 % as much compared to September 2012, and in the real economy, it increased by 11.9 % - up to 3978.4 lei.

The lowest average salary in Moldova was registered in the fish farming industry. In September 2013, it amounted to 2,022.7 lei (+24.7 % compared to September 2012). The average salary in agriculture and forestry amounted to 2,633.6 lei (+10.2 %). The average wages in hotel-restaurant business remains low - 2,568 lei (- 0.8 % compared to September 2012), in education - 2,986.9 lei (+ 4.3 %), trade - 3,200.9 lei (+ 8.2 %).

The highest average salary in the country traditionally accounts for banking and financial sector of Moldova. In September 2013 it amounted to 6,452.5 lei, increasing by 5.3 % compared with September of the last year. The average monthly salary in enterprises of heat, electricity, gas and water supply industry made 5,751.7 lei (+13 % compared to September 2012), transport and communication companies- 5,053.3 lei ( 21.6 %) , in real estate companies -4,969.2 lei (+17 %) , in public administration- 4477.8 lei ( 8.2 %).

The average salary in the construction companies amounted to 3,868.5 lei (2.3%), in mining industry - 3,907.8 lei (2.9 %), processing industry - 3,688.4 lei (7.1 %), in health and social care sector- 3,456.2 lei (5.5 %).
