OREANDA-NEWS. November 21, 2013. Sberbank took part in the annual Russia Day, hosted by the NYSE Euronext in New York.

The NYSE’s annual Russia Day offers an opportunity for senior executives to engage in strategic discussions with business peers, asset allocators and investors, and Russian government officials about the business and investment opportunities in Russia.

Anton Karamzin, Senior Vice President of Sberbank, partook in the event and was a speaker on the panel, "Building the Next Generation of Russian Global Champions in Association with the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF)." The panel was moderated by Ryan Chilcote of Bloomberg TV.

Mr. Karamzin and his fellow panelists spoke about the challenges and opportunities for Russian businesses as they look to expand beyond Russia's borders in order to boost productivity and performance. Mr. Karamzin was joined by Sergey Belyakov, Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation; Bob Foresman, CEO, Barclays Russia; David Gottlieb, Partner, Clearly Gottlieb; and Albert Ganyushin, Head of International Listings, NYSE Euronext.
