OREANDA-NEWS. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has paid insurance compensation in the amount of over 900 thousand rubles pursuant to full comprehensive insurance agreement for Prestige 46 yacht.

On 17 September, 2013, because of high wind, Prestige 46 yacht was thrown ashore by a wave onto the western shore of Lake Baikal, in Babushkin Bay. As a result of the accident, the yacht suffered different damages of the hull, propeller shaft, screws, and some other elements.

The case was recognized as an insured event, and Ingosstrakh Insurance Company indemnified the insurant both for costs of bringing the yacht afloat and of vessel repairing.
