R&D Institute of WISCO received the official notification from R&D Center of PSA Peugeot Citroen (PSA) in Shanghai in forming that WISCO has acquired the PSA certification in two grades of galvanized HSLA steel, which were officially listed in the purchasing system of PSA.

This marks a breakthrough in automotive sheets certification and high strength steel development of WISCO.

Over century-old PSA Peugeot Citroen (PSA) is the second automotive manufacturer only to Volkswagen inEurope. Currently, there are two joint ventures in China?span>Dongfeng Peugeot Citro? automobile company Ltd (DPCA) and Changan PSA Automobiles Co., Ltd (CAPSA). In addition, itsR&DCenteris established inShanghaiwith very strict material certification and reviews. WISCO team made arduous and unremitting efforts to succeed in acquiring the certification in two grades of HSLA steel.

At present, WISCO has got the certification of PSA (Shanghai) in cold-rolled automotive sheets with various categories of IF steel, high strength IF steel, BH steel, HSLA steel, dual-phase steel. Besides, WISCO was qualified to supply steel products for top sub-brand of PSA (which is manufactured by CAPSA). Therefore, the competitiveness of automotive sheets of WISCO has been strengthened significantly.
