OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2013. For the nine months of 2013 the volume of lumber exports from Russia totaled 8.95 million tons worth USD2.68 billion, as Federal Customs Service of Russia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

6.52 million tons of lumber worth USD 2.03 billion were shipped to other countries; to CIS countries – 2.4 million tons worth USD 651.2 million.

The volume of Russian exports of roundwood for the reporting period amounted to 13.34 million cubic metres, worth USD 1.16 billion. 12.91 million cubic metres of roundwood worth USD 1.13 billion were shipped to other countries in January-September 2013; to CIS countries -424.5 thousand cubic metres worth USD 30 million.
