Boundaries of Border Checkpoint in Kandalaksha Seaport Established
OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2013. By Rosgranitsa No. 202-OD the boundaries of the sea cargo-passenger permanent multi-sided checkpoint through the state border of the Russian Federation in Kandalaksha Seaport (Murmansk Region).
The new boundaries cover a building of Murmansk Branch, where the vessel traffic system of the Kandalaksha Bay and the Control Communication Center of the Global Marine Distress and Safety System, sea area A1.

As of 10 months of 2013 the coal and general cargo turnover in Kandalaksha Seaport reached 471,9 thousand tons, which is almost 20% less than in the same period of 2012.
As of that period 24 vessels made calls to Kandalaksha Seaport with the help of the Murmansk Branch pilots.
