OREANDA-NEWS. Metalloinvest donated RUB 50 million to the Interregional Association of Economic Partnership of the Far East and Zabaykalye to provide aid to flood victims in the Far East of Russia. The funds will be used for the reconstruction works to liquidate the consequences of flooding and as targeted financial support to the local residents.

Andrey Varichev, CEO of Management Company METALLOINVEST and a member of the interdepartamental working group for distribution of humanitarian aid to the regions in the Far East affected by floods, commented: “Today, in providing this humanitarian aid, it is very important to address most urgent needs. Metalloinvest is confident that the Interregional association is dealing with this in the most efficient manner. We hope that life in the affected region will return to normal in the nearest future.”

Metalloinvest also organised a collection of donations by its employees.
