ITERA Group Announced New General Director
OREANDA-NEWS. According to decisions by extraordinary assembly meeting of participants the Group's Restructuring Program was launched on this November 1 and the position of the General Director of ITERA Group, LLC was introduced. ITERA Group managed the assets of Igor Makarov's ITERA International Group of Companies. Alexander Yeremin was appointed General Director of ITERA Group, LLC. He took various positions in companies of ITERA International Group of Companies since 2007, including the position of the General Director of CJSC Uralsevergaz in the period of 2012-2013. Responsibilities of the General Director include restructuring of ITERA International Group of Companies, operational administration of production and commercial operations and financial and economic activities of ITERA Group, LLC, as well as supervision of everyday work of the Group's enterprises.
Alexander Yeremin simultaneously headed the recently established Investment Committee of ITERA International Group of Companies.
Igor Makarov, President of ITERA International Group of Companies said: "After 21 years of successful operation in the Russian and foreign markets, our Company found itself on the verge of an ultimate renewal. Alexander Yeremin, whose professional qualities had been tested in years, would direct the process of ITERA International Group of Companies renewal and the start-up of new projects".
ITERA International Group of Companies (ITERA IGC) is a transnational industrial holding. Igor Makarov (Russia) is its main owner. ITERA IGC was established in 1992. Nowadays, it includes dozens of enterprises in the CIS, the Baltic States, Western Europe, Asia and the USA. ITERA is specializing in investing in oil and gas industries. Strategic business areas of the Group also include power generation, gas processing, engineering and development.
ITERA IGC sold ITERA Oil and Gas Company, LLC, its affiliate, to OJSC NK Rosneft in 2013.
Alexander Yeremin was born in Balashikha town in the Moscow Region on November 2, 1958. He graduated from Engines of Aircrafts Faculty of the Moscow Aviation Institute named after S. Ordzhonikidze in 1981. He speaks English and Dutch. After he graduated from the Institute, he worked for aerospace industry. In 1988 he joined the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations. He worked for trade missions in the Netherlands and in Cyprus. He has been working for ITERA International Group of Companies since 2007 in various positions, such as Advisor to General Director, Deputy-Head of Strategic Development Department, General Director of CJSC Uralsevergaz, Vice-President for Strategic Planning. He is married and has a son.
