Kondopoga Net Loss Increased by 5% in January-September
OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2013. During the first nine months of 2013, Kondopoga’s (Kondopoga, Republic of Karelia, Russia) net loss increased by 5%, amounting to RUB 1.82 billion (USD 55.7 million), as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Revenue for the reporting period decreased by 2% to RUB 4.98 billion (USD 152 million). Loss of sales in January-September 2013 amounted to RUB 125.9 million (USD 3.85 million), a year earlier the company achieved profit on sales of RUB 49.65 million (USD 1.5 million).
Since July 2013 Kondopoga is not a seller of manufactured products. Kondopoga enters into a tolling agreement. 3Q tolling revenue were RUB 2 081.6 million (USD 6.4 million).
Kondopoga is the largest in Russia and 7th biggest in Europe newsprint producer. In 2012, the company produced 680 thousands tons of paper, including 678.6 thousands tons of newsprint.
