OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2013. A representative of the Anti-Cartel Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) took part in the tele-seminar “Combating Cartels in the CIS: National Experience and International Cooperation” organized at the site of “Promoting Competition in the CIS” Non-Commercial Partnership.

Deputy Head of FAS Anti-Cartel Department, Mukhamed Khamoukov, made a presentation on “Cartel investigations: the Main Stages and Methods of Obtaining Evidence”, where he discussed specifics of collecting evidence in cartel investigations in Russia.

“The tele-seminar enables to simultaneously engage representatives of several countries in discussing various aspects of cartel investigation and exchange practical experience in the real-time mode. Overall, such seminars facilitate devising common approaches to cartel investigation and developing cooperation between antimonopoly authorities and experts of the CIS states”, commented Mukhamed Khamoukov.
