OREANDA-NEWS. The 19th yearly exhibition Metal-Expo was opened November 12 in All-Russia Expo Centre, Moscow. Manufacturers of ferrous and nonferrous metals from Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, Europe and South-East Asia presented their products in the pavilions 75 and 69. According to the official report 714 companies coming from 33 countries took part in the exhibition. As usual, large number of companies represented People's Republic of China (77 companies), Germany (68 companies), Italy (46 companies), Ukraine (21 companies), Finland (15 companies) and Czech Republic, Austria, India, Spain, Poland, and Vietnam (first time).

The Russian Federation was represented by as much as 416 participants, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation one of them.

During the first day of Metal-Expo VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation had negotiations with representatives of Perm Engine-Building Plant, PSC Aviaagregat, Samara, NPO Irkut, Motor-Sich, Ukraine, Moscow Machine-Building Plant named after Chernyshev, and Aerocomposite at its stand.

In total more than 50 meetings were planned by VSMPO specialists for the exhibition, the team was headed by Oleg Leder, Deputy Director General, Marketing & Sales.
