PM of Ukraine Orders Not to Put Unreasonable Pressure on Enterprises
OREANDA-NEWS. November 15, 2013. On commission of the President of Ukraine Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has ordered to controlling and law enforcement bodies not to put unreasonable pressure on enterprises. He stressed at a session of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“I commission Minister of Incomes and Fees O. Klymenko to establish order in the department, ensure implementation of revenues of the budget not at the account of pressure on tax-payers, but at the account of cooperation with payers and targeted, risk-focused control and inspection. I warn you that facts of groundless checks will be taken by the President and the Government as an emergency which will be eliminated rigidly by us. Together with those who created it [situation]. And law enforcement bodies, I address Minister V. Zakharchenko, must clean forget the road to enterprises, markets et cetera, if it isn’t connected to investigation of criminal cases,” Mykola Azarov declared.
He informed that during meeting with representatives of the Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs, leaders of large industrial enterprises and Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine the President had instructed the Government to eradicate immediately a practice of collection taxes in advance and delays in value added tax reimbursement. To analyze all tax checks cases which haven’t resulted in a well-grounded decision on accrual of tax liabilities and bring to justice everyone guilty in making such checks. Moreover, it is necessary to think over a legislative mechanism of refunding of damage caused to tax-payers at the account of guilty officials.
