OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2013. Eurocopter, the world No. 1 helicopter manufacturer, signed an agreement with the Lithuanian Armed Forces for the supply of three AS365 N3 Dauphin helicopters to be used for search and rescue missions.

In addition to their search and rescue duties, the AS365 N3 Dauphins will be available for tasks such as observing the effects of drought and floods, tracking crop conditions and plant disease, as well as monitoring marine pollution and other environmental dangers.

Liudas Ramanauskas, senior associate with SORAINEN, advised Eurocopter throughout the lengthy and complex public procurement procedures and represented the client in negotiations with the customer.
