OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2013. Dmitry Patrushev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank and Vyacheslav Shport, Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory have signed a Cooperation Agreement on implementation of the State Program on Agribusiness Development and Market Regulation for Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Foodstuffs 2013-2020.

In the framework of the Agreement the Bank plans to increase its financing of the regional agribusiness. One of the tools to achieve this target will be expansion of investment lending to the industry.

The Government of the Khabarovsk Territory, in turn, takes a commitment to facilitate financial support of projects under the State Program and provide for state-issued performance and payment guarantees on behalf of agribusiness producers – borrowers of the Bank.

Implementation of the Agreement will promote the development and modernization of agricultural infrastructure, enhance food security and improve living standards of rural population in the region.
