OREANDA-NEWS. The new-generation electric trains shuttle along the Olympic railroads ensuring direct connection between the main districts of Sochi, international airport, Olympic Park and Krasnaya Polyana.

The trains service the routes Sochi - Adler - Olympic Park and Sochi - Adler - Krasnaya Polyana, and deliver passenger from Sochi to the airport. At the initial stage, the scope of traffic reaches 30% of the maximum Olympic schedule. Overall, these routes are expected to use 38 Lastochka rolling stocks carrying about 7 thousand of passengers per hour.
