Domodedovo Will Share Experience at Recruitment Summit 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. On November 13-15, Moscow will host the first national recruitment and staff attraction conference, the Recruitment Summit 2013. The event will become a platform bringing together representatives of career orientation centres and university graduates recruitment agencies, HR-directors, managers and recruitment specialists. About 150 experts are expected to attend the Conference.
Representatives of Moscow Domodedovo Airport have been invited to the event as experts and will take part in the discussion of the key issues of the Conference. The event format provides for an exchange of views between experts and other conference participants, an opportunity to share experience and ideas regarding the pressing issues in the fields of hiring, sourcing and selection of staff for business development.
Intellectual capital is a strategically relevant resource for the development of Moscow Domodedovo Airport, which has extensive experience in employees training and recruitment. Since 2000, Domodedovo has been using its own resources and facilities for implementation of the Inflow Recruitment Program aimed at attraction of talented and motivated students as young professionals, their adaptation, training and development at the airport enterprises. Moscow Domodedovo Airport has chosen a unique strategy for training of highly competent professionals, ensuring its own regular inflow of employees for certain positions. Final-year high school students can participate in the program, and it is one of the project's new trends: preparing for their college exams, the soon-to-be high school graduates may attend training courses at partner universities and vocational schools. The Inflow Recruitment Program provides for workshops, specialized lectures, practical training at the airport complex enterprises, and the students are paid a study allowance. Every year, Domodedovo holds a Business Game involving students participating in the Program. The Game simulates a real operation cycle of the company, where future professionals try their hand at various jobs and develop their professional skills.
