"Our national enterprises have received the order and the production has already begun," the Head of State said at the meeting with workers of culture and art adding that "it will be the most modern vehicles".

According to him, 1.5 thousand cars have been ordered.

Viktor Yanukovych stressed that the given order was one of the first steps on the way of ambulance upgrade. "Such vehicles will also be manufactured in the future. In 2-3 years, we are planning to finish the upgrade. Ukrainian ambulance will work at the decent level," the Head of State emphasized.

He also noted that in some regions, ambulance brigades had almost achieved the standards declared in the context of healthcare reform implementation. "Our ambulance work almost under these parameters," Viktor Yanukovych said.

The Head of State added that advanced training of doctors, their decent material and financial support were also among topical issues. "We conduct advanced training, we have increased wages of ambulance doctors, we have provided necessary medicines and equipment for ambulances," the President said.
