OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2013. Pensions of Ukrainian citizens will be not less than 1000 UAH in 2014. It was stated by the President at the meeting with workers of culture and art.

"There will be no pensions less than 1000 UAH," the Head of State said.

According to the President, 1.5 million Ukrainians receive pension less than 1000 UAH nowadays. In 2010, about 6 million Ukrainians received such pension.Viktor Yanukovych emphasized that in the last 3.5 years, pensions in Ukraine had been increased by 42%.
