Two of CROC's Projects Win Prointegration Awards 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. CROC has won awards in two of the eight categories at the PROINTEGRATION AWARDS 2013: The Best Digital Signage Solution and The Best Enterprise Solution with EUR 200,000+ Budget. The winning projects were: Digital Signage Solution project at the Moscow World Trade Center and the Office of the Future project at the Dalnevostochny Head Office of Sberbank of Russia on Russky Island. The PROINTEGRATION AWARDS focuses on the key players in the professional audio, video and systems integration services market.
“I am particularly happy that CROC's first appearance at the PROINTEGRATION AWARDS 2013 resulted in wins in two categories. Both projects are unique by their nature. For example, certain equipment and systems were used for the first time in Russia at the Office of the Future. Furthermore, the Moscow World Trade Center (Moscow WTC) was equipped with an audio and video system comprising 250 displays, panels, screens and interactive kiosks, with the scale of the project being second to none in this country,” says Alexey Volkov, Head of Audio and Video Systems, CROC.
Sberbank's Office of the Future on Russky Island features an interactive 38-cube video wall which displays info about bank products, services, exchange rates, etc.; a multi-touch table with custom games for customers; an interactive window for collectible coins; ATMs for people with disabilities; and a video conferencing system with a video wall comprising 12 LCD panels which can be used to train up to 30 employees at a time. In addition, CROC's clients can also make proximity payments - both at self-service kiosks and by using a mobile robot which can also provide consulting on relevant matters. The Moscow WTC audio and video project includes 15 video walls, 75 LCD panels, approximately 150 LED TVs in lifts and halls, five street advertising booths, and an outside LED screen of over 11 square meters. The systems are used to transmit ads about the center's products and services. In addition, 18 interactive navigating kiosks show visitors both the location of a selected site on a map and the optimal route to reach it. The complex solution is connected to the content management system, which was also developed by CROC.
The winning projects included solutions by IBM, Christie, Dell, Samsung Electronics, YCD Multimedia, AOPEN, Directorix, Mitsubishi, Engage, Nautilus Hyosung, etc.
“We highly appreciate our partnership with CROC. Together we successfully implement projects to satisfy a wide range of different customer needs. This includes complex digital signage systems, original video wall projects, and interactive solutions implementation. The winning at PROINTEGRATION AWARDS 2013 is a further acknowledgement of CROC's high professionalism in the creation of audio and video solutions, including projects with Samsung audio and video products,” said Vladimir Osokin, Head of В2В Displays at Samsung Electronics, while congratulating CROC.
“YCD Multimedia products were used in the Moscow WTC project, which was an excellent example of two teams collaborating for one cause: creating a solution which fully meets the customer's business objectives. Despite a complex technical configuration and non-standard business requirements, CROC completed the task brilliantly and proved to be a serious and reliable partner and a pleasure to work with,” says Ella Lozinski, Sales Manager in Russia and CIS, YCD Multimedia.
“From the first days of our partnership with CROC, it became clear that our values and goals match: together we create reliable, high-quality, innovative and creative solutions. CROC specialists are proven professionals and we believe that our future projects will be no less interesting and impressive,” says Natalia Vorontsova, Business Development Manager, AOPEN.
More than 30 projects in Russia and the CIS aspired to receive the award, including companies such as ATANOR, Brullov Consulting, Parallax, Polymedia, AUVIX, MediaSystem Group, Media Trade Ukraine and others.
