In the course of his opening speech at the plenary session of the Council of National and Foreign Investors on the topic "Investments in the Development of Economy and Social Sphere in Conditions of FTA with the EU", the President noted that more than 200 IT-enterprises had been registered in Ukraine in the first half of 2013.

"The increase of income allows business investing more into the development of social infrastructure, into the welfare and health of people," the President emphasized.

According to him, in February 2013, income tax rate was reduced from 21% to 5% for the producers of software.
