OREANDA-NEWS. November 08, 2013. According to the CIS Statistics Committee, for 9 months of 2013, the volume of cargo transportations in Moldova increased by 21.7 % compared to the same period of the last year.

The positive dynamics of cargo transportations during this period was also registered in Kazakhstan (+8.5%), Kyrgyzstan (+5 %), Azerbaijan (+ 4.1 %) and Tajikistan (+2.2 %). Other countries have registered a decline: Belarus (- 6.3 %), Ukraine (- 4.1 %), Russia (- 2.1%) and Armenia (-1.5 %).

There is no data available for Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan for this period. The volume of cargo transportations in CIS for 9 months of 2013 increased by 2 % compared to the same period of the last year.

For comparison, in January -September 2012 the growth of cargo transportations amounted to 7.4 % compared to the same period of 2011.
