OREANDA-NEWS. NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the data, cloud and international communications business within NTT Corporation, announced today that it was rated World Class based on its predicted organic growth and overall customer satisfaction, and won Gold Awards for outstanding performance in 14 categories, including Network Reliability and Installation Guarantees in the recently published "Voice of the Customer: Global Data VPN, Issue 15 " a benchmarking report by UK marketing services firm Ocean82, Ltd.

Ocean82 evaluated the customer satisfaction level for eight major global telecom operators, including AT&T, BT, Cable & Wireless, Orange Business, T-Systems, Telefonica and Verizon, by interviewing IT managers from 1000 multinational companies. Their report looked at six major categories, including price, network operation and customer support, along with 32 related minor categories. NTT Com, the only Asian company evaluated, won Gold Awards in 14 categories, meaning it met customers' expectations for outstanding performance in those areas.

According to Janet Watkin, CEO at Ocean82, "Only NTT Com and Verizon achieve a positioning score of 82 or more on the scoreboard that ranks operators for overall competitiveness. Such a score meets the criteria for showing resilience in the ever changing market place. The World Class accolade denotes occupancy of the top quadrant of the Ocean82 Crystal Ball, which predicts sustainable competitive advantage, and a score of 82 or more demonstrates user perceptions of resilience against competitive threats."

NTT Com has been enhancing the quality of its global data communications services through expansion of its high-quality, cloud-based VPN service Arcstar Universal One and through efforts like the Arcstar Carrier Forum, an international conference organized by NTT Com to discuss strategies for strengthening Arcstar-branded managed network services for multinational corporations. The company is committed to continue providing superior ICT services.
