OREANDA-NEWS. Starting from 30 March 2014 and throughout the 2014 summer season, Air France will serve San Fran-cisco daily by A380, the largest super jumbo in its long-haul fleet.

This Airbus is already a new refer-ence in terms of air transport and the environment. In addition to unparalleled comfort in a spacious cabin, the A380 offers a particularly quiet cabin and is more fuel-efficient, generating fewer CO2 emis-sions.

The Air France A380 is equipped with 516 seats, divided between four cabin classes: La Premiere, with 9 seats, Business with 80 seats; Premium Economy with 38 seats and Economy with 389 seats.

On board, passengers enjoy optimum travel comfort and a cabin interior of exceptional dimensions. 220 windows fill the cabin with natural light and a mood lighting system allows passengers to cross time zones without feeling tired. Moreover, the six bars in the aircraft provide a friendly atmosphere during the flight.

The A380 is a particularly quiet aircraft with five decibels less noise in the cabin compared with industry standards. The super jumbo also benefits from the latest technology at the service of in-flight entertain-ment and comfort. External images are broadcast live throughout the flight with three cameras housed at the front, underneath and at the rear of the aircraft. The Company fleet’s largest super jumbo is the first aircraft to feature a gallery dedicated to art and culture.
