OREANDA-NEWS. Anglo American plc (“Anglo American”) announces the appointment to its Board of Jim Rutherford as a non-executive director, with immediate effect.

Mr Rutherford has more than 25 years of experience in investment banking and investment management, both as an institutional investor and analyst. Between 1997 and 2013, he was a Senior Vice President at Capital Group, one of the world’s largest and longest established investment management companies, with responsibility for investments in the mining & metals industry.
