Moscow Companies Assess ROI from Participation in SEMICON Taiwan 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. SEMICON Taiwan 2013, held at Taibei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall, finished on 6th September 2013.
SEMICON Taiwan is the most prominent trade show for semicoductors in South-East Asia. This year the show floor of the exhibition has made up about 12,000 sqm, with 600 exhibitors from 17 countries taking part in the event. It was the first time that Moscow had presented its own pavilion at SEMICON Taiwan. The pavilion was staged by the Department for Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the Moscow City Government and Expocentre ZAO (an exhibition operator).
The official delegation of Moscow was headed by Vladislav Ashmarin, Head of the Division for Knowledge-Driven Development of the Department for Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the Moscow City Government He took part in official events and held meetings and negotiations with heads of missions from other countries on potential cooperation in the fields of industry, R&D and innovation. Speaking at a briefing that was attended by representatives of the national pavilions of China, Japan, Korea and Moscow, Mr Ashmarin presented the priority programmes for the development of modern and accessible innovation infrastructure, which are being carried out in Moscow.
The show floor of the Moscow Pavilion made up 90 sqm, where 21 companies put on display their innovations.
During SEMICON Taiwan'2013, the representatives of Moscow innovation companies had over 120 meetings and negotiations, and attended more than 60 events of the show programme.
