Baltika Named Most Valuable FMCG Brand in Russia by Interbrand.
OREANDA-NEWS. Baltika brand came first among FMÑG brands in the Best Russian Brands 2013 rating from Interbrand consulting company and is the only beer brand in the top 10.
“Hitting top 10 of this rating proves Baltika's indisputable leadership in FMCG category in Russia and demonstrates that our efforts aimed at strengthening the positions of company brands are going in the right direction”, commented Isaac Sheps, President of Baltika Breweries. “Our company supports major sports events and image projects, like Sochi Winter Olympics - 2014 for which Baltika is an official beer supplier, and partnership with the Kontinental Hockey League”.
Baltika is not the only company brand in the Best Russian Brands 2013 rating - Arsenalnoe brand came 22nd, Nevskoe was ranked #30, and Yarpivo occupied #40 position in the rating.
Interbrand, a brand consulting company, views brands as key value creators for business. Interbrand's valuation methodology identifies the contribution of the brand to business results and includes assessment of the brand, its financial impact, the market, and competitors. There are three key components in all of Interbrand valuations: analyses of the competitive strength of the brand, the role the brand plays in the purchase decision, and the financial performance of the branded products or services.
